Plano is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Plano follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I have a second-hand Chrysler 200, and because it repeatedly went into limp mode, I had to get the transmission checked. I searched on ChatGPT for nearby repair shops and chose Plano Automatic Transmission because their reviews were excellent and they seemed very trustworthy. After I dropped off my car and had just gotten home, I received a call from Liz. She told me that my car still had two recalls that hadn’t been addressed, and she also informed me that the motor oil was critically low and needed to be refilled immediately. That was likely the reason why my engine had been stalling so often. I feel very sorry and realize I was careless for not checking the oil level regularly. This morning when I went to pick up my car, Liz carefully explained the recall items to me and even printed out the relevant recall information. She was worried that, as a foreigner unfamiliar with the rules, I might be misled elsewhere. The mechanic also helped me add the engine oil that I had previously purchased. All of this was done free of charge. Honestly, this is truly a trustworthy shop. Everyone there is honest, helpful, and professional, and there were no unnecessary charges at all. If I ever ha

After receiving estimates from $3500 to $15k, we came to Plano Automatic Transmission. They diagnosed our 2010 Subaru Outback (310k miles) and told us it needed a new solenoid. When it comes to car repair trust is critical. We felt very comfortable and trusted them immediately. They were able to diagnose it within a couple of days and it was fixed two weeks later! We were quoted $700 and they charged us less than that - $649! WOW! She shifts perfectly now! Very happy with our experience and every contact in the company from front office to technicians. We were kept in the loop on what was going on, delays due to parts and such. Fantastic experience and it is such a gift to know we were with true transmission pros! Highly recommend!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

2010 Buick Lucerne FIXED. Trans was removed, rebuilt and replaced for about same price as replacing with used trans. Got 1 yr warranty, whereas used only gets about 90 days. Liz was Great. We got everything done over the phone, as far as getting in. She gave us all the info, price and time frame, we needed. She let us know about possible necessary replacement parts before and their added costs if necessary. Liz also told us about leaks on engine components, and they don't do oil pan or valve cover gaskets. Took 1 month, but that was expected. So I got in line and they got her done. My wife enjoys her Buick. Thanks Y'all!!!

I just picked up my 2001 Corvette which needed a complete transmission rebuild. The car has never shifted so firm and pulled so strong. I asked Jeff to put a shift kit in while he was rebuilding my transmission and he did a great job. Car has a new Engine and now a new transmission. I built the engine to have significantly more power than factory and now I'm positive the transmission will take the extra power. Driving my Corvette now is a blast. Thanks guys at Plano Transmission for the great work. Larry Smith
